|While the Harris County Flood Control District will be identifying future flood damage reduction projects through the Halls Ahead study, the Flood Control District has already begun implementation of several projects to reduce flooding risks and damages for residents along Halls Bayou. These projects include:|
|The Halls Bayou watershed is located in north central Harris County, Texas and is part of the larger Greens Bayou watershed.|
|The Halls Bayou watershed is approximately 45 square miles.|
|Halls Bayou is approximately 20 miles long.|
|According to the 2010 U.S. Census, the approximate population of the Halls Bayou watershed is 160,100.|
